BOOKINGS
A valid credit card number (VISA or Mastercard) is required to hold a reservation. We do not hold tentative bookings. On reservations of 4 rooms or more that are booked via one person a deposit of $50 per room per night will be charged to your credit card when the reservation is made. This deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled (regardless of notice given).
CANCELLATIONS
Walhalla's Star Hotel is a small retreat and late cancellations have a significant impact. If a reservation is cancelled and you do not rebook for another date at the time of cancellation, the following applies;
• Cancellations between 7 days & 72 hours = $50 cancellation fee (per room/per night)
• Cancellations within 72 hours = 100% fee of first night's accommodation
• Cancellations within 24 hours = 100% fee of the total stay
Please note that on Long Weekends (inc Easter) a $50 per room/per night cancellation fee will be charged regardless of the notice given.
NOTE: These conditions apply to reservations made by telephone or email direct with Walhalla's Star Hotel. Reservation made under "special deals" or via 3rd party websites like qantas.com or wotif.com are subject to the cancellation conditions outlined on those websites.
We recommend that you have travel insurance to cover cancellations in unfortunate circumstances.
BYO
Walhalla's Star Hotel is NOT a BYO premises. Beverages not purchased from Walhalla's Star Hotel cannot be consumed on the premises (this includes the bedrooms). We have a 24 hour guest bar available should you feel the need for a beer at 4am.
NOISE
Walhalla and Walhalla's Star Hotel is a quiet place. This is why people come to the hotel...to get away, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. For this reason we have a rule that there be no noise after 11pm and this includes the bedrooms.
If you are intending to come to the Star Hotel with a group of friends with the plan to "party-on", may we suggest that you select another hotel.
ROOM ALLOCATIONS & REQUESTS
We are happy to take requests for particular rooms within the hotel. However, while we will try to ensure that you are given your room of choice, we can offer no guarantees due to operational reasons. The exception to this rule is "Black Diamond" which is our disabled suit. If you require "Black Diamond" please advise us when you make your reservation and this room WILL be held for you. You will be advised if it is NOT available when you make your reservation. Please note that we have 4 ground floor rooms, if you require a ground floor room, please advise us when you make your booking. People who request ground floor rooms get priority over those who don't. If you are not able to use stairs, please request a ground floor room.
