After the Great Divide Bush fire in the summer of 2006/2007, it was decided that Walhalla needed a bit of a clean up and urban renewal. A list of nearly 100 items was created the covered signage to gardens, fences to picnic tables. The program is being funded by the Baw Baw Shire and already there have been numerous benefits and the town is looking great once again.
